Lucky Day Mahjong was founded by Andrew and Kara Day. Married since 2004, they are the proud parents of twin sons and have built a life they love in Tampa, Florida. Together, they share a passion for beautiful entertaining, thoughtfully designed spaces, and creating meaningful opportunities to gather friends and family around the table.
In 2025, Kara was introduced to mahjong by a group of friends and was instantly hooked. It wasn’t just the game that captured her heart, it was everything surrounding it: beautifully set tables, intentional details, genuine conversation, and the joy of welcoming friends and family into your home. Mahjong became the perfect excuse to gather, connect, laugh, and create lasting memories.
That passion inspired the creation of Lucky Day Mahjong. A business built around our belief that beautify products can help create meaningful moments.
